Pineapple Fruit Tart

Ingredients

1/4
|
cup ground almonds (about 2 tablespoons whole almonds)
|
|
1/4
|
cup butter or margarine, softened
|
|
1/4
|
cup sugar
|
|
2
|
tablespoons milk
|
|
1/2
|
teaspoon almond extract
|
|
3/4
|
cup all-purpose flour
|
|
2
|
packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
|
|
2
|
tablespoons sour cream
|
|
1/4
|
cup apricot preserves, divided
|
|
1
|
teaspoon vanilla extract
|
|
1
|
can (15-1/4 ounces) DEL MONTE® Sliced Pineapple In Its Own Juice, drained and cut in halves
|
|

kiwifruits, peeled, sliced and cut into halves
|
|
1
|
cup sliced strawberries
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Combine almonds, butter, sugar, milk and almond extract; mix well. Blend in flour. Chill dough 1 hour.
|
|
2. Press dough evenly onto bottom and up side of tart pan with removable bottom.
|
|
3. Bake at 350°F, 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
|
|
4. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, 1 tablespoon apricot preserves and vanilla. Spread onto crust. Arrange pineapple, kiwi and strawberries over cream cheese mixture.
|
|
5. Heat remaining 3 tablespoons apricot preserves in small saucepan over low heat. Spoon over fruit.
